Project Objectives:
-Develop a visual identity design for a small-scale public space/environment in West Lafayette, IN to connect to the people and promote the space.
-Understand and examine a chosen space/environment to define the place in a visual identity system and develop strategies to improve awareness, functionalities, connectivity's, and design a comprehensive identity design.
-Theme space/place can be a building park, library, zone area, street, etc.
-Applications can be infographics on the space, signage system, environmental graphics, promotional publications or applications for diverse media, and any promotional design format.

My Process:
For my visual identity space, I chose the Purdue University Airport and Aviation educational buildings. Throughout my process of designing my logo and graphical elements, I used recognizable Purdue figures to give my designs more personable to Purdue University itself.
Creating a Brand Identity:
The Purdue University Airport had no previous branding to it's name and made it difficult to become a memorable brand. I wanted to create a logotype that was memorable to Purdue University's campus as well as iconic for Purdue Aviation. I created a logo and branding using similar color palettes and simple shapes to understand.
